Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Sheetbase ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

Sheetbase is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that acts as a secure bridge between your local AI agents (such as Claude Desktop, Cursor) and the Google Sheets REST API. We provide tooling that allows these AI agents to read, write, analyze, and transform spreadsheet data on your behalf.

3. Account Security and API Keys

When you use our Service, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys:

• You are strictly responsible for all activities that occur under your account and any generated API keys.
• You must not publicly share your API keys or expose them in client-side code.
• You must promptly notify us if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or API keys.

4. Compliance with Google Policies

Because our Service interacts directly with Google APIs on your behalf, your use of Sheetbase is also subject to Google's API Terms of Serviceand related policies. You agree not to use Sheetbase in any way that violates Google's terms or policies.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. While we implement safeguards (such as pre-write snapshots and formula guards) to prevent accidental data loss, we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use the Service at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Sheetbase, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
